BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. — One of West Virginia's most recognizable athletes will be making an appearance in Harrison County as part of a longtime community fundraiser.
Former West Virginia University standout and current Pittsburgh Steelers center Zach Frazier is scheduled to participate in a meet-and-greet on Thursday, June 18, at RG's Almost Heaven Harley-Davidson in Bridgeport. The appearance is being held in conjunction with the 25th Annual Hogs for Dogs Dice Run, which benefits the Humane Society of Harrison County.
Frazier, a Fairmont native, earned All-American honors during his collegiate career at WVU before being selected by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the 2024 NFL Draft. He quickly became a fan favorite among both Mountaineer and Steelers supporters and remains one of the state's most prominent professional athletes.
The meet-and-greet is scheduled from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at RG's Almost Heaven Harley-Davidson. Organizers are encouraging attendees to support the Humane Society of Harrison County through donations during the event.
