Taylor County Fair Returns July 8-11 with Four Days of Family Fun
GRAFTON, W.Va. — One of North Central West Virginia's longest-running summer traditions is set to return as the Taylor County Fair welcomes visitors for four days of entertainment, exhibits, food and family activities.
Scheduled for July 8-11, the annual fair will once again bring together residents and visitors from across the region for a celebration featuring carnival rides, live music, motorsports, agricultural exhibits, contests and community events.
The fair opens Wednesday, July 8, with exhibits, food and craft vendors, the Calico Queen Pageant, Taylor County's Got Talent competition and professional wrestling. Carnival rides will begin operating at 6 p.m.
Thursday's schedule includes off-road time trials, live music from Lauren Worth, wrestling and additional carnival attractions.
Friday evening will feature the H&H Rodeo, a vehicle sledgehammer smash competition and a performance by Alec Angus, while Saturday's activities include pony rides, character meet-and-greets, live music, a demolition derby and performances from Dalton Matheny and The Lucky Devils.
Throughout the four-day event, visitors can enjoy a variety of food vendors, craft vendors, exhibits and family-friendly activities that have helped make the Taylor County Fair a staple of summertime in North Central West Virginia.
For generations, the fair has served as a gathering place for families, farmers, businesses and community organizations, showcasing the traditions and spirit that continue to define Taylor County and the surrounding region.
