New York Giants to Hold Training Camp at The Greenbrier Beginning in Late July
One of the NFL's most recognizable franchises is heading to West Virginia this summer.
The New York Giants will open their 2026 training camp at The Greenbrier in White Sulphur Springs, bringing players, coaches, team personnel and fans to the Mountain State for the start of preparations for the upcoming NFL season.
Veteran players are scheduled to report on July 28, with the team's first full practice set for July 29. The Giants will remain at The Greenbrier through the opening weeks of camp before returning to New Jersey ahead of the preseason schedule.
Fans will have several opportunities to watch the team in person. Six practices are scheduled to be open to the public:
- Thursday, July 30
- Friday, July 31
- Saturday, Aug. 1 (Back Together Weekend)
- Wednesday, Aug. 5
- Thursday, Aug. 6
- Friday, Aug. 7
Gates are expected to open at 12:30 p.m., with practices beginning around 1:30 p.m., although times remain subject to change based on weather and team operations. Admission to the open practices is free.
The Aug. 1 "Back Together Weekend" will include appearances by former Giants players, fan activities and special giveaways as part of the NFL's annual league-wide celebration of training camp.
The move marks the Giants' first training camp away from their regular practice facility since 2012. The temporary relocation comes as renovations continue at the team's headquarters and as preparations surrounding the 2026 FIFA World Cup impact facilities in the New York area.
The Greenbrier has become a familiar destination for professional football over the past decade, previously hosting training camps for the New Orleans Saints, Houston Texans and Cleveland Browns, while also serving as a preseason destination for several other NFL organizations.
The annual camp is expected to generate significant tourism activity for southeastern West Virginia, with football fans traveling from across the region to watch one of the NFL's most historic franchises prepare for the 2026 season.
