Jesus Fest WV Brings National Christian Music Lineup to Downtown Clarksburg This August
CLARKSBURG, W.Va. — Less than a month from now, downtown Clarksburg will become the setting for two days of Christian music, worship and family activities as Jesus Fest WV returns to Jackson Square.
The free festival will take place Friday, Aug. 7, and Saturday, Aug. 8, with three nationally recognized contemporary Christian music acts scheduled to perform.
Jordan St. Cyr will headline the festival Friday night, while Sidewalk Prophets will open for Andrew Ripp during the Saturday evening concert.
St. Cyr, a Canadian singer and songwriter, is known for songs including “Weary Traveler,” “Fires,” “Rescue” and “No Matter What.” He has become a familiar voice on contemporary Christian radio and has earned multiple awards and nominations during his career.
Saturday night will feature two major names in Christian music.
Sidewalk Prophets, the Dove Award winning band behind songs including “The Words I Would Say,” “You Love Me Anyway,” “Live Like That,” “Help Me Find It” and “Come to the Table,” will open the evening.
The group will be followed by Ripp, the Nashville based singer and songwriter known for songs including “Jericho,” “Fill My Cup,” “For the Love of God,” “Rejoice” and “Love’s Got a Way.” His career includes multiple No. 1 Christian radio singles.
The national artists will be part of a larger two day festival featuring local performers, speakers, community outreach, food vendors and merchant booths.
Organizers also are planning a children’s area with activities including face painting and bounce houses. A baptism area is expected to return after more than two dozen people were baptized during the 2025 festival.
Admission to Jesus Fest WV is free and open to the public. Free parking is also expected to be available in the municipal parking garage along Hewes Avenue.
The full day by day schedule has not yet been released, with additional details about performers, speakers and activities expected as the festival approaches.
Jesus Fest WV will take place Aug. 7 and 8 at Jackson Square in downtown Clarksburg.
