Harrison County Economic Development Director Amy Wilson Named to WV Executive's Sharp Shooters Class of 2026

CLARKSBURG, W.Va. — Harrison County Economic Development Corporation Executive Director Amy Haberbosch Wilson has been recognized as a member of the 2026 Sharp Shooters class by WV Executive magazine, a program that highlights emerging leaders from across the Mountain State.

Wilson was honored during the program's recent 10th anniversary celebration, which brought together members of the Class of 2026, alumni, sponsors and supporters to recognize leadership and professional achievement throughout West Virginia.

A lifelong advocate for community development and responsible growth, Wilson has spent her career helping communities plan for the future, attract investment and create opportunities for residents. As executive director of the Harrison County Economic Development Corporation, she has played a key role in supporting economic growth initiatives across North Central West Virginia.

In her profile with WV Executive, Wilson reflected on her professional journey and the opportunities she has found in West Virginia.

"From working in a rural community, then one of the fastest-growing places in the U.S. in 2004 to coming back to West Virginia, it has been a ride I wouldn't trade for anything," Wilson said.

According to WV Executive, members of the Sharp Shooters Class of 2026 were selected for their leadership, professional accomplishments and commitment to helping shape the future of West Virginia. During the anniversary event, class members shared reflections on leadership and their dedication to developing the next generation of leaders across the state.

Wilson's recognition continues a long record of service to Harrison County and the region through economic development, planning and community engagement efforts.
