Clarksburg’s Davisson Brothers to Host Wild & Wonderful Country Fest in Elkins
ELKINS, W.Va. — One of Harrison County’s most popular homegrown musical groups will bring together country, bluegrass and folk performers for a daylong festival in the heart of West Virginia.
The Davisson Brothers Band will host the 2026 Wild & Wonderful Country Fest on Saturday, Aug. 15, at the Citizens Bank of WV Amphitheatre on the Davis & Elkins College campus.
Gates will open at noon, with music beginning at 1 p.m. at the outdoor venue located at 100 Campus Drive in Elkins.
The festival lineup includes The Travelin’ McCourys, the Davisson Brothers Band, Aaron Raitiere, Landon McFadden, Rob Snyder, Eddie Davisson, Mike Morningstar, Annie Neely & Friends, Nick Davisson and Joey Davis.
For music fans across North Central West Virginia, the festival’s hosts need little introduction.
Brothers Chris and Donnie Davisson formed the Davisson Brothers Band in Clarksburg and have built a large and loyal following while continuing to call Harrison County home.
The group, which also includes their nephew Gerrod Bee and longtime family friend Aaron Regester, has developed a sound that blends country, Southern rock, bluegrass and Appalachian influences.
Over the past two decades, the Davisson Brothers have carried their distinctly West Virginia sound to stages across the United States and around the world. The band has charted on country radio with “Foot Stompin’,” found international success with “Po’ Boyz” and performed alongside nationally known artists at major festivals.
Despite that success, the Davisson Brothers have remained closely connected to the communities where their music began. Their local performances continue to draw large crowds, and their songs, live shows and public appearances regularly celebrate West Virginia’s people, culture and musical traditions.
Wild & Wonderful Country Fest gives the group another opportunity to showcase its home state while bringing nationally recognized performers and West Virginia musicians together on the same stage.
The Travelin’ McCourys will join the Davisson Brothers as one of the featured acts. The lineup also carries strong family and regional connections, with Eddie Davisson and Nick Davisson among the scheduled performers.
In addition to live music, the festival will feature local food, craft beverages and a market of Appalachian artists and vendors. Organizers describe the event as an intimate outdoor celebration of country and folk music in the walkable community of Elkins.
General admission tickets are currently available for $49. Free parking will be offered in designated areas of the Davis & Elkins College campus, although space is limited. Additional parking will be available throughout downtown Elkins.
