159th West Virginia Memorial Day Parade Set for Monday in Grafton, Livestream Coverage Begins at 8:45 AM

GRAFTON, W.Va. — One of West Virginia’s most historic Memorial Day traditions returns Monday as Grafton prepares to host the 159th West Virginia Memorial Day Parade, bringing together veterans, community members, organizations, and visitors for a day centered on remembrance and honoring those who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to the nation.

Organizers announced that the official livestream coverage will begin at 8:45 a.m. Monday, May 25, allowing viewers across the region and beyond to experience the day’s events live.

Coverage will begin prior to the parade and include the Flag Raising Ceremony hosted by the Mother’s Day Shrine, participant interviews from the staging area near Grafton High School, and additional feature segments leading into the main event.

The parade itself is scheduled to begin at 10:00 a.m., with live commentary provided by Rob Gallo and Alex Reneman from the Performance Plaza near the Taylor County Courthouse.

Recognized as one of the state’s longstanding Memorial Day traditions, the annual event serves as both a community gathering and a time to reflect on the service and sacrifice of America’s fallen military heroes.

For those unable to attend in person, organizers encourage the public to tune in and watch the official broadcast.
